Established by Cristina Cisilino, Made jewellery was born out of a love of Africa and a belief in 'trade not aid.’ Made is not about charity but about profitable trading which benefits impoverished communities in Nairobi, Kenya. They work with sustainable resources, and have set up training for local craftsmen in new skills and provide them with support and fair wages.
Every piece of Made jewellery is unique as it’s handmade by independent artisans. The artisans receive a living wage, healthy working conditions and formal business training to develop sustainable businesses. Made jewellery not only looks great, but behind every unique piece there is a unique story to be told.
