Pants to Poverty started out in 2005 as the young people’s group from the Make Poverty History campaign. They were inspired by the words of Nelson Mandela and learnt how badly the people who make our clothes are treated and how simple the solutions really are. So they created this fabulous, funky line of pants.
Pants for Poverty have now become renowned for their semi-naked demonstrations, including a ‘pants mob’ protest outside the Bank of England! Not only are they still actively campaigning for the eradication of poverty, you can have peace of mind that your undies are as ethical as can be too. They’re now made with 100% organic cotton, and are fair trade and sweat-shop free.
