La Vie Devant Soie

The workshop La Vie Devant Soie has set up is in South East Cambodia and for the women weaving is a part time job for them as they also work in rice fields. Weaving helps them to have a salary outside of the rice season and stabilises the local economy. The women employed by La Vie Devant Soie are paid a fair price and operate in stable and fair work conditions. The fabrics, mostly shot, natural silks and cotton are sourced locally in Cambodia.
